The how to:
STEP 1 :
Heat olive oil in a large pot on medium-low flame. Add the diced onion, fresh garlic, and spices. Cook for about 10 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
STEP 2:Use your hand and crush the tomatoes as you add them into the pot (rustic chunks are okay here!) Add the bay leaf and bring to a simmer. Mix and then bring the flame to low and partially cover with a lid. Cook down until reduced and thickness reached (about an hour or so). Make sure to stir a few times throughout the time it is cooking to ensure nothing sticks to the bottom.
Cook the Chef's Kiss Pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water (4-6 mins), stir immediately and expect a bit of foam. Drain the pasta and mix in the marinara sauce. Garnish with some freshly chopped basil and lots of parmesan cheese and serve! Seal it with a chef’s kiss - buenisimo!
