The how to:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat with garlic and shallot, stirring frequently until translucent (around 5-7 minutes). Add tomato paste and stir frequently until the paste turns a dark red and begins to caramelize (about 5 minutes). Add vodka and stir until liquid has evaporated. Then add the cream and red pepper flakes and stir. Season with salt and pepper to your liking and turn off heat.
Cook the Chef's Kiss Pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water (5-8 mins), stir immediately and expect a bit of foam. Drain the pasta but reserve around ½ cup - 1 cup of the pasta cooking liquid. Mix the remaining pasta liquid under medium-low heat with the pasta sauce, stirring and adding more pasta cooking liquid if needed, until butter has melted (2-3 mins). Turn off the heat, add pasta to the sauce and mix evenly. Season with salt and pepper and top with parmesan cheese and shredded fresh basil leaves and voila! Enjoy!
