Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a money back guarantee?

Absolutely!  Within 30 days of purchase, you can return your order for any reason and for a full refund by emailing us at hello@chefskiss.co.

What Do Crunchy Lupins taste like?

Crunchy Lupins have a mild, nutty flavor that's similar to pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. They're savory, light, and incredibly easy to snack on by the handful.

How are Crunchy Lupins made?

Crunchy Lupins are made from whole chocho lupins that are soaked for 24–48 hours, gently freeze-dry them to preserve their nutrition and crunch, then finish them with a touch of sea salt. That's it—just minimally processed, whole-food snacking.

Why freeze-drying instead of roasting?

Freeze-drying uses low temperatures instead of high heat, helping preserve the lupins' natural nutrition while creating a light, crispy crunch. The result is a clean, satisfying snack without the need for oils or heavy processing.

Why is this a limited time product?

Crunchy Lupins are launching as a limited first batch while we see what our community thinks. Once this batch is gone, we can't guarantee they'll return. If enough people love them, we'll make them a permanent Chef's Kiss product—and hopefully introduce new flavors in the future. Try them while they're available, then tell us what you think (and what flavor you'd like to see next!) at hello@chefskiss.co.

Are Chocho Lupins an allergen?

The FDA does not require Lupins to be listed as a top 8 allergen. However, Lupins are a legume related to peanuts. People with peanut allergies are at a higher risk of allergic reactions to Lupin. Although not everyone with a peanut allergy will react to Lupins, studies show that cross-reactivity can occur.
